KALAIMAMANI SRI. K.VEERAMANI was one of the popular singers of Devotional music in Tamil Nadu. He along with his elder brother "SOMU", a great composer and Lyricist released various songs on almost all deities around the world.

K.VEERAMANI has taken place in the hearts of Devotional music lovers, especially his song "PALLIKATTU SABARIMALAIKKU", "BHAGAVAN SARANAM" on LORD IYYAPPAN and "NIRANCHA MANASU UNNAKUTHANDI" on LORD KARUMARI AMMAN which brought him fame all over the world.
After Sri.Veeramani, by Grace of God and instigation from music lovers Sri.Veeramani Raju, son of Sri Somu has started his journey towards fulfilling the desire of Sri K.veeramani in spreading the devotional music which is a real path to reach God. Sri Veeramani Raju with the blessing of his Guru Sri K.Veeramani joined the music troupe in the year 1971 and performed lot of devotional music programmes along with Sri.K.Veeramani. This gave lot of Strength to Sri Veeramani Raju when he started giving stage performances independently.
Sri Veeramani Raju has inherited all qualities of Kalaimamani Sri.K. Veeramani due to the advantage of long association with him. It is needless to say that Sri.Veeramani Raju has also got the same voice of Sri Veeramani in capturing a place in the minds of devotional music lovers. His first stage performance was during 1975, many more programmes have followed and Sri Veeramnai Raju has given performances in almost all major temples across the country. Not limited with this he has offered himself for programmes outside India and covered Singapore, Malaysia, Srilanka and South Africa. He also given number of cassettes and CD's on various deities released by leading companies like AVM, HMV, Sruthilaya, INRECO, KVM audio etc. Shri Veeramnai Raju has been conferred with title, "IRAI ISAI THENRAL" by Murugan Adiyargal, "IYYAPPA AMIRTHA GANA BHASKARAN" by Sri Sri Sathguru Santhananda Swamigal, "DHEIVEEGA PAADAGAR" by Kachaleeswarar temple Murugan Adiyar Thirukkootam and many more titles to his credit. He has been nominated as "Asthana Vidwan"of Mariamman Temple, Singapore.
